FAQ'S

of why and how to use CBD Products for you pet

Will CBD get my pet "high"?

CBD or “Cannabidiol” is a naturally occurring compound of the hemp plant Cannabis
Sativa L. Despite their similar chemical structures, CBD and THC do not have
the same psychoactive effects. CBD is non-psychoactive. Therefore, It will
not give your pet any “high” when consuming it. CBD is shown to help pets with
anxiety, stress, pain, inflammation, seizures and more.

WHAT CONDITIONS HAS CBD BEEN SHOWN TO TREAT IN PETS?

While research and studies are continuously ongoing, the
current data has shown CBD has been effective at treating many conditions for
pets, such as:

- Decreasing Anxiety

- Behavioral disorders

- Decreasing pain & inflammation

- Alleviation of cancer symptoms

- Decreasing Seizure disorders

- Diseases of the immune system.

As more research and studies on the effects of CBD for pets, we expect this list
will grow even larger.

HOW DO I KNOW IF CBD IS WORKING FOR MY PET?

CBD can take some time to build up in your pet’s body and
start working effectively. The key is to give your pet an accurate dosage of CBD over a consistent period of time.  Be sure to monitor your pet during this initial phase to notice any effects the CBD is having on them.

3 SURE WAYS TO KNOW THAT CBD IS WORKING FOR YOUR PET

Once you have given your pet CBD, how can you know that it
is working? Here are three common signals that your pet is feeling the effects
of CBD:

1. Increased movement, agility, and willingness to stand up.

If you are noticing:

A reduction in the time it takes for your pet to stand up,

An increase in bravery or willingness to explore,

Your pet expanding their garden patrol or spending time in different places in your home, Less licking or fussing over joints and pressure points

Then it’s likely that the CBD you are giving them is having
a positive effect!

2. Changes in your pet’s verbalization

Pets that are under stress from anxiety, pain or inflammation in the body often present with verbalization changes. Some pets may become more introverted, quiet, and passive.

If CBD is reducing your pets inflammation or anxiety, it’s
likely you’ll see this expressed in the way they communicate with the people and animals around them. Just as their endocannabinoid system should be becoming more stable, expect to see more stable expressions of behavior— so less panicking when the doorbell rings, or more acceptance of being petted and
handled.

3. Symptom are reducing

If you’re giving your pet CBD oil to help with chronic
conditions such as arthritis or seizures, the best way to judge effectiveness is to compare their symptoms before you begin CBD treatment, and after your pet has been ingesting a consistent CBD dose for a couple of weeks. Focus on things like frequency, duration, intensity, and how disruptive or upsetting symptoms
are to your pet.

In this sense, CBD may not completely remove your pet’s
symptoms in the way that pharmaceutical drugs sometimes can. Instead,
indications should become less severe over time, as internal cannabinoid concentrations rise. Keep in mind all pets are different, and it may be
necessary to adjust the type or dosage of the type of CBD you are using (within reason) until symptoms are manageable or completely gone.

CAN MY PET OVERDOSE ON CBD?

The short answer is no. While it is potentially possible to give your pet more CBD than they need, the most typical side effect your pet will experience is drowsiness. But it is important to know that if  you want CBD to work properly pet, don’t overdo it. (CBD must be administered properly to your pet to achieve the desired
results.)
